Evan Ross shares fairytale photos from wedding with Ashlee Simpson

After a year with Ashlee Simpson as his wife, Evan Ross is clearly just as smitten as the day they wed, and took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse inside the couple’s special day. The 26-year-old shared six intimate photos, including a look at the bohemian bride’s gorgeous dress.

One very sweet snapshot shows the newlyweds – who are expecting their first child together – walking hand in hand with Ashlee’s six-year-old son Bronx. “#reflections of such a beautiful wedding,” Evan captioned the picture. “Me and my amazing wife @ashleesimpsonross. At my mother’s house in Greenwich Connecticut! And now I can’t wait to meet my little baby girl.”

Another wedding photo shows 30-year-old Ashlee in her beautiful lace wedding gown sharing a kiss with her new husband.

Evan – the son of Diana Ross – also shared a picture from inside the wedding reception, showing the interior of a lavish tent decked out for the celebrations. “Look how beautiful our reception was!! Just looking back through photos,” he wrote. “Such a special day.”

The newlyweds share a kiss on their wedding day

Ashlee and Evan wed on 30 August 2014 in a Bohemian ceremony held at iconic singer Diana’s estate after a whirlwind romance. Just four months later, they announced they were expecting their first baby together and confirmed in February that the new arrival would be a baby girl.

Ashlee – the younger sister of Jessica Simpson – said she wanted to find out the baby’s sex in advance so she could prepare. “I like to know – I want to do the nursery,” she said at the time, adding of her son Bronx: “He wanted to have a sister so he’s really excited!”
