Stars go tennis-crazy at Novak's glamorous gala dinner

Novak Djokovic put his defeat at Sunday's Wimbledon final  behind him to host a glamorous star-studded gala dinner on July 8. The handsome Serbian escorted his girlfriend Jelena Ristic to London's Roundhouse venue for the charity event, held in aid of his Novak Djokovic Foundation.

Stunning swimwear model Jelena showed the world Novak is still her number one as she proudly cuddled up to him on the green carpet. While her man looked dapper in a tailored black suit and bow-tie, she stole the show in a navy and white strapless gown that featured a full skirt.

The event attracted a A-list crowd, with guests including Gerard Butler, Goldie Hawn, her daughter Kate Hudson and fiancé Matt Bellamy, Richard Branson, Jeremy Piven, Holly Valance and Naomi Campbell. It also received the royal seal of approval with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie making an appearance alongside Sarah, Duchess of York.

Sarah opted for an embellished dress that featured a navy skirt and a corseted waist. Beatrice, 24, who arrived on her own to the event, went for a knee-length evening dress with a high neckline.

Inside the royal trio spent time mingling with the other high-profile guests and posed for a number of pictures. Jelena, in particular, looked delighted to meet the VIPs.

While she looked relaxed and happy at Monday's gala, Jelena, 27, recently admitted that being the girlfriend of the world's number one tennis player is not easy.

"You can get very passionate when watching your boyfriend from the player's box," she told the Mail. "We just want them to be happy. You don't want to see them in pain. If they are not happy, neither are you.

"But I have to be careful as I don't want to get too emotional and distract Novak. It's about what the guys want. We don't want them to see us emotional. When I'm at home watching him on the TV, I get even more passionate because I know the cameras aren't on me.

"My job is to keep Novak calm and relaxed before his matches. We are emotional partners. The emotional support we give each other is very important. It's the same for me as well. He is very supportive and encouraging of the world that I do."
