Jessica, 31, missed out on a big night for her hubby at the prestigious Los Angeles fan-voted music awards, where the star scooped three awards including favourite pop/rock male artist, favourite soul/R&B album and favourite soul/R&B male artist.

As well as taking to the stage to receive his gongs, the Sexy Back singer also stepped up to perform Drink You Away, an acoustic guitar in hand for the bluesy number.

The 32-year-old star was as dashing as ever in a dark blue tuxedo jacket, black vest, trousers and bowtie.

He also did some mingling backstage during the evening, meeting supermodel Heidi Klum for the first time.

"Look who I found backstage at @TheAMAs @jtimberlake! #amas. Thank you for the wonderful intro!!" Heidi wrote on Twitter, alongside a snap of the two smiling delightedly at the camera.

Just a year has passed since Jessica married her main man Justin in a lavish wedding that was covered by HELLO! magazine.

The handsome couple tied the knot in a magnificent wedding in Puglia, Italy, attended only by close friends and family.

On their special day, the Suit & Tie singer presented his bride with a unique gift — a song Justin had written especially for her, which he performed at the ceremony.

The Hollywood sweethearts had been dating since 2007, and after a brief split in 2011, the couple got back together and Justin proposed while on holiday in December of that year.
