Frankie Muniz suffers second stroke at age 27

Frankie Muniz says he is "miserable" after suffering a second stroke at the age of 27.

The former Malcolm In The Middle star shared the news on Twitter and was clearly upset about enduring yet another serious health scare.

"Almost a year to the day, I experienced another mini stroke. Hopefully that will be the last. Miserable," wrote Frankie.

The former child star, who has been engaged to his fiancée publicist Elycia Marie Turnbow for two years, suffered his first mini stroke in November 2012.

"I couldn't say words," Frankie told Good Morning America at the time. "I thought I was saying them. My fiancée was looking at me like I was speaking a foreign language."

Frankie insisted that he lead a healthy lifestyle, free of drugs and alcohol.

"I'm still trying to make sense of it," he said. "But I'm happy I'm alive."

The small screen star put his acting career on hold in 2008 to pursue his dream of becoming a race car driver. Frankie also plays the drums for his band, Kingsfoil.
