Lindsay Lohan reportedly planning to sue over 'Grand Theft Auto V'

Lindsay Lohan is back in the news, this time for her reported plans to sue the makers of Grand Theft Auto V.

Sources claim the actress is livid at the popular video game brand for the unauthorized use of her image, particularly with regards to one celebrity character named “Lacey Jonas.”

Lacey appears on the cover of the game sporting a bikini while holding a cell phone, and though she looks a bit similar to Lindsay, there has been some debate over whether she looks more like Kate Upton or other contemporaries.

In the game itself, the shallow blond is an actress from “cheerleading dance-off” movies and “romantic comedies.” One task is to take her home to escape the paparazzi.

Another part of the game shows a different celebutante named Poppy Mitchell at one of Lindsay’s favourite spots, the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood, where the players’ mission is to photograph her having sex on camera.

The female celebrity characters in Grand Theft Auto V, which is set in Los Angeles, are said to be parodies of young starlets like Lindsay.

This isn’t the first time the 27-year-old has sued over what she perceived as slights to her image. The actress lost a lawsuit against rapper Pitbull in 2011 for his song, “Give Me Everything,” which included the line “I got it locked up, like Lindsay Lohan.”
