Surprise! Actresses Chloë Sevigny and Natasha Lyonne have deep roots in Toronto

Chloë Sevigny recently interviewed Orange is the New Black star Natasha Lyonne for Harper’s Bazaar, and the biggest discovery wasn’t that Natasha affectionately calls Chloë "Chlo-Chlo," but that the duo began their friendship in a backyard in Toronto.

The year was 1998, and Chloë was in Toronto shooting A Map of the World while Natasha was filming Detroit Rock City.

“Everybody was shooting in Toronto in those days. Anyway, I fell in love with you at first sight, and I thought, 'Oh my God, Natasha and I are going to be isolated together in Toronto. We’re going to become best friends!' But then you fell in love with a boy and I got waylaid. I wanted you all to myself, but I wound up as third wheel," Chloë says about the duo’s first meeting and Natasha’s relationship with Edward Furlong.
