Beyoncé posts sweet family photo after Mya denies affair

Beyoncé and Jay Z are always in the spotlight, but recently they’ve been subject to unsubstantiated claims that their marriage is in trouble.

Amidst the media scrutiny, the superstar couple are putting on a united front. Beyoncé posted a photo to her website this week, which shows the Carter family visiting an art exhibition at Brooklyn’s Domino Sugar Factory.

The picture captures the “Drunk in Love” pair looking intently at a sugar sculpture by Kara Walker titled, “A Subtlety or the Marvelous Sugar Baby,” with Blue Ivy in her dad’s arms.

Rumours of Jay Z’s reported infidelity ran rampant after Beyoncé changed some lyrics to her song “Resentment" – which is about being lied to and cheated on – while on a recent tour stop.

The star sang, “Been riding with you for 12 years” – the number of years that she and Jay have been together – versus the original lyrics, which only cite six years.

She also added an addendum to the verse, supposedly calling out the "mistress" in the song while adding some strong language. The alledged mistress herself, Mya, was promptly asked by a fan on Instagram about the rumour, to which she replied: "Never did, never was, never will. Illegitimate, thirsty sources with no facts and that’s the 'media' for you-especially today. I play second to no one, pay my own bills, have my own label, own management company, rely on God only and respect myself & marriage way too much for nonsense", she wrote.

And judging from the latest photos from Beyoncé's website the rumours of problems between the celebrity couple are entirely unfounded. The series of happy images include a snap of the couple holding hands, as well as a tour photo from Boston, where Beyoncé is all smiles while singing a duet with her husband.
