Miley Cyrus shares adorable throwback baby photo

If you frequent Miley Cyrus’s Instagram feed, you’ll know that the singer likes to Photoshop her baby pics into creative pop-culture scenarios, laying her young self in the arms of Kim Kardashian or Justin Bieber, for example. But the pop star mixed it up on Monday (March 23), surprising fans on the social-media platform with a standalone baby photo of herself as a toddler – and an adorable one at that!

The sweet photo reminds us of the innocence that was once Miley’s life, growing up on a farm in Tennessee with her country-crooning dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, mom Tish and numerous siblings. And after her fast-paced, 80-stop Bangerz tour ended in autumn 2014 the concert DVD was just released!, we’d bet Miley was nostalgic for simpler times.

The singer’s relationship with boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger came into question last week when he was photographed getting close to two young women on Spring Break in Cabo. Making matters worse, one of the ladies was his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Burns.

Miley’s protective fans immediately came to the singer’s defence, prompting Patrick to explain his actions via Twitter on March 16.

“OMG. It’s one of my best friends girlfriend…” he wrote in reference to the close-encounter photo of the girl with her arms around his neck, gazing into his eyes.

He followed up with “Would Never do anything against my GF…” and finally, “Girls have guy friends and guys have friends that are girls…” before the day was over. He has not tweeted anything since.

While reports swirled that Miley was ‘bummed out’ by the embarrassing incident, the couple seem to be working things out and are putting this behind them. Case in point: the lovebirds were spotted Monday night in full PDA-mode at the Los Angeles sushi restaurant Kiwami. Photographed holding hands and kissing on a private patio, it’s clear this was just a hiccup in an otherwise perfect six-month courtship.

If anything, Miley can use the incident as material for her next album, on which she’s told reporters she’s hard at work.
