Chris Martin returns from holiday with Gwyneth Paltrow to spend Easter with Jennifer Lawrence

Chris Martinand girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence were surely happy to reunite as they discreetly boarded a private plane at New Jersey’s Teterboro airport. The Coldplay frontman had just returned from a Mexican vacation with his children and estranged wife, Gwyneth Paltrow.

This is the first time the duo have been seen together since January 31 when they attended Harry Styles’ 21st birthday party in Los Angeles. Since then 24-year-old Jennifer has been busy filming her new film Joy in Boston . She also spent March promoting Serena with frequent collaborator Bradley Cooper, who recently split from his girlfriend Suki Waterhouse.

Meanwhile, Chris has been spending time with Gwyneth and their children, ten-year-old Apple and Moses, eight. On Valentine’s weekend the family were seen at the beach. Then last week the four of them joined up for an Easter break in Mexico’s Puerto Vallerta.

As well as the time the 38-year-old singer devotes to co-parenting with Gwyneth, sources tell People that he communicates daily with Jennifer.

While he was with Jen, his ex was having a fun-filled weekend of her own. On Saturday Gwyneth joined a star-studded line up for a beach party with guests including Ashton Kutcher, Bono, Joel Madden and country duo Florida Georgia Line.

It’s been over a year since the 42-year-old Iron Man beauty announced that she and her husband were “consciously uncoupling”.

So far the mother of two seems to be happy with their co-parenting arrangements. She recently said: “We’re very, very close, and it’s so nice. I feel like it’s, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have.”

Gwyneth also seems to approve of Chris’ choices in his love life, saying: “He wouldn’t be with anyone that wasn’t great”.
