Why Kim Kardashian may never have another baby

Despite trying more than “500 times a day” with husband Kanye West, Kim Karadshian is still struggling to conceive a little brother or sister for North West. The reality TV star opened up about her fertility issues on the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, with her doctor revealing that she might have to seek out a surrogate for her second child.

Kim’s fertility specialist said that the mom would have to undergo a procedure to remove parts of placenta that were still stuck to her uterus from when she gave birth to North.

'You can still get pregnant, but it does expose you to risks during the pregnancy,” he said. “If I can't guarantee that and surrogacy is the only way to give you a comfortable pregnancy and a nice healthy baby, we'll talk about that.”

Mom Kris suggested that Kim’s 35-year-old sister, Kourtney – who has three children of her own –“would probably” be willing to be a surrogate for her younger sister, but Kim wasn’t keen on the idea.

Understandably upset over the news, the 34-year-old beauty told Kris, “To have a surrogate is really scary to me. I don't want one. I wouldn't dare ask anyone to do that for me.”

Kim has been open about her fertility struggles in the past, though this is the first time fans have been privy to the specifics of her situation.

“I complained so much about how much I hated being pregnant and I never thought I would be begging to be pregnant,” she told sister Kendall Jenner. “Trying for baby number two is not fun like baby number one.”

Mrs. Kanye West isn’t the only celebrity who has struggled to conceive. Celine Dion finally welcomed twins Eddy and Nelson after six IVF attempts, while Sarah Jessica Parker and Nicole Kidman used a surrogate in order to expand their families.
