‘I pursued him’: Kim Kardashian reveals she made the first move on Kanye West

Since the beginning, fans assumed Kanye West was the one who pursued his now-wife, Kim Kardashian – but it turns out that it was actually the other way around. The power-couple were immediately attracted to each other when they first met many years ago, but both of them were in other relationships at the time.

"We stayed in touch here and there and then when he wasn't in relationships, you know, it's just our timing would always not really coincide,” Kim tells Access Hollywood.

After her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries came to an end, however, the reality TV star decided to give her rapper crush a call.

“I think it was six months after I was newly single in like 2012, I was like, 'Why not? What am I waiting for?'” she says.

The brunette beauty admits that both of them were hesitant to dive into a new relationship at first, but after Kanye invited her to attend one of his fashion shows in Paris, they discovered their chemistry was undeniable.

The loved-up pair, who celebrate their first wedding anniversary on May 24, seem to balance each other out, with Kim revealing that Kanye gives her confidence. She says he was the one who talked her into pursuing the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood video game app – a decision that Kim calls “the best thing that I ever did.”

"I handle things differently [now],” says Kim. “Like in business, I go into something where before I might have been a little bit timid and I'm a little bit calmer, and I go in like, 'No, guys, this is what I want.'"
