Lily-Rose Depp brings dad Johnny and mom Vanessa Paradis together for 'sour sixteenth'

Lily-Rose Depp may have dubbed this year’s birthday her “sour sixteenth,” but it was also a sweet opportunity to get the whole family together. Dad Johnny Depp and mom Vanessa Paradis celebrated their eldest’s milestone birthday at Ago restaurant in Los Angeles following a number of celebrations in the lead-up to the big day.

Johnny, 51, was also joined by his wife Amber Heard, 29, at the Tuscan-style eatery, which is co-owned by Robert De Niro. It is thought that Vanessa’s partner Benjamin Biolay was also invited to the event.

Lily-Rose shared a photo from inside the restuarant, which she jokingly referred to as her "sweet sixteen dungeon", showing the tables strewn appropriately with beautiful roses, and ended her birthday pics with a snapshot of her petal-filled bed.

The pretty young actress has plenty to celebrate at the moment. Lily-Rose recently made her modelling debut for Australian magazine Oyster, showing the same ethereal beauty as her mother Vanessa, who is counted as one of Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld’s muses.

Lily-Rose’s film career is also taking off. Earlier this month is was confirmed that she would appear opposite Natalie Portman in the upcoming thriller Planetarium, her second major movie role after completing work on Yoga Hosers in 2014, which also stars her father Johnny.

Unfortunately, he has been having a more difficult time of late. Johnny could face jail or fines if he is charged and found guilty of illegally smuggling his pet terriers Pistol and Boo into Australia where he is filming the new instalment of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Nevertheless, the Hollywood actor apparently sees the funny side of the media and political attention over the incident. His close friend Mick Doohan, a five-time motorcycle world champion, told the Courier Mail, “To be honest, I think he thinks it’s quite humourous.
