Jennifer Garner is all smiles amid separation reports

Jennifer Garner was all smiles as she stepped out recently to meet a friend for lunch. The mother of three looked relaxed and happy, like reports of problems in her 10-year marriage to Ben Affleck were the farthest thing from her mind.

At the weekend the two ladies were seen laughing and chatting together, before parting with a big hug. It comes after the couple were seen taking out two of their children – Violet, nine, and Seraphina, six. Their youngest, three-year-old Samuel wasn’t there.

Jennifer Garner is ignoring reports that her marriage is in trouble

It’s been as busy as ever for the power couple. Jennifer has been filming comedy Nine Lives in Montreal while Ben has been shooting Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Jen, 43, has been open about how difficult it is to balance marriage with the demands of a young family.

“You just go on a ride together because you don’t know who you’re going to be when you first have a baby and you don’t know who [your partner] is going to be,” she told them. She continued: “You have to just hang in there while you figure it out – and have a lot of patience for each other."

It’s been business as usual for the star mom

It echoes comments by her husband during his Oscars acceptance speech in 2013. “I want to thank you for working on our marriage for ten Christmases,” he told her before a global audience. “It’s good. It is work but the best kind of work and there’s no one I’d rather work with."

The Gone Girl star has also talked about what he loves about Jennifer, revealing in an interview that she makes it a rule never to say anything mean about anyone. Ben also says one of the moments he likes most is when he gets back from being away and his wife and children rush out to greet him.

He admitted to GQ magazine that he met her at quite a low point and she turned his life around.

“It was a really, really good thing that happened to me around the time that it was nice to have something good happen,” says the actor of his real-life leading lady. “And she’s just a great woman and a great friend.”

As well as, he says, a wonderful mother: “She has such wise and certain stewardship over these three characters that I love so much.”
