While celebrities were already in Bruce Jenner’s corner before he unveiled his transition to Caitlyn Jenner in a va-va-voom Vanity Fair spread his A-list fan club continues to grow. Stars like Kerry Washington, Lena Dunham and Ellen DeGeneres have spoken in support of the former Olympian, who revealed his plans to transition in a highly anticipated Diane Sawyer interview a few months ago.
Tweeting about the sensational magazine cover in which the reality star wore a custom-made, $200 corset from the brand Trashy Lingerie, the Scandal star said: “CAITLYN!!!!!!!!!! Love this. So happy for her.” Ellen DeGeneres said she hoped “we can all be as brave” as her.
Maria Shriver said the cover made her stop, adding: “You go Caitlyn”. President Barack Obama retweeted Caitlyn’s first tweet, saying: “It takes courage to share your story”.
Many of the young fashion posse, who are close friends with the Kardashian clan also backed the world’s newest and most glamorous trans. Model of the moment Gigi Hadid, who is friends with Caitlyn’s daughter Kendall Jenner, tweeted: “Hi Caitlyn you are beautiful”.
The ‘go Caitlyn’ camp also includes Miley Cyrus, Lena Dunham, Emmy Rossum, Sam Smith and Victoria’s Secret beauty Lily Aldridge.
The striking brunette was tickled by all the love, tweeting: “Another Jenner world record, and at 65? Who’da thought! Humbled & honored to have reached 1M followers in 4 hrs. Thank you for your support.”
So far ex-wife Kris Jenner has kept silence on social media – although the Momager was interviewed for the debut article.
She said: “He was married to me, and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable.
“We fought a lot because we would go out together and before we got to the end of the block we were in a fight because he started saying, ‘When can we go home?’”

The rest of the family including Kim Kardashian, Khloe and Kendall all praised the cover on their Twitter accounts. Meanwhile, Kourtney’s partner Scott Disick was seen driving up to the athlete’s Malibu home on the day the magazine appeared.
The cover star’s 88-year-old mother Esther told Access Hollywood she is happy for her child and certain aspects of their relationship won’t change.
“I still have to call him Bruce. His father and I named him that. It’s going to be a struggle for me to get used to the change, but happily so…” the octogenarian said. “I’m very happy for him – or her!”
