Kim Kardashian pens a memo to her future self: 'Remember to be kind to yourself'

Businesswoman and fashion icon Kim Kardashian continues to endear fans with her sense of humour, having recently delighted listeners on NPR’s wait, wait…don’t tell me and now writing a tongue-in-cheek letter to her future self, asking questions about the relevance of 2015 slang and her family.

“When you read this, you’ll be 10 years older in the year 2025,” she begins. “I hope this is where you are.”

Writing for Glamour magazine, Kim, who is pregnant with her second child wth husband Kanye West, writes: “When it comes to how you feel about your body, remember to be kind to yourself and enjoy how you look now because you’re not getting any younger.

“May you continue to feel blessed and grateful. Since North is now 12, I hope you remember that preteens are going through a lot. I know junior high is really tough, so remember to have a lot of patience.”

Kim is close with her family, all of whom star on the hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but in her letter she only mentions her four sisters: “I hope Khloefinds her happily ever after and falls madly in love because she really deserves it.

“I hope Kourtney is maybe done with having babies. She has a lot on her plate and I know she doesn’t want to stop anytime soon.

“I hope Kendall will continue to be modeling and doing whatever she loves to do. Kyliebetter just be doing whatever she wants because she’s not usually one to take any direction.”

Kim, who recently published a book called Seflie, which featured hun dreds of selfies taken over the years, also showed off her humorous side, writing: "I trust that you will still be the queen of contouring. May science invent a mysterious and delicious green juice to keep you tan forever.”

She ponders: “Are selfies still a thing? Are the terms bae and on fleek so 2015? If not, am I still on fleek?”

She concludes the letter with a mission to her future self: “If you haven’t broken the 100billion mark on Instagram, I’ll be very disappointed in you.”
