Ariana Grande hosts special tea party for fans in Toronto

A group of devoted Ariana Grande fans, who waited patiently outside of a Toronto hotel to catch a glimpse of their favourite singer, got the surprise of a lifetime when the 22-year-old superstar invited them in for tea.

Tea with my Toronto babies… u make me happy ,” the “Love Me Harder” songstress captioned a photo on Instagram. Ariana, who was in Canada for a stop in her Honeymoon tour, is seen posing with about 20 of her “Arianators” before heading off to perform to a sold out crowd at the Air Canada Centre.

This isn’t the first time that the Florida native has caught her fans off guard. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2013, Ariana dressed up in a chicken suit to battle it out with unsuspecting contestants in a costume contest. The surprises kept coming the following year when she interrupted a “sing-off” on Today to help fans perform a medley of her biggest hits.

It looks as though the pop star has put last month’s embarrassing “doughnut incident” behind her, opting instead to concentrate on her music and tour. After video footage was released showing the singer licking baked goods at a California bakery, Ariana took to social media to share her remorse and apologize for her actions.

Earlier this month it was announced that the “Problem” singer is breaking into the fragrance industry with the release of her first perfume . “Ari by Ariana Grande” will hit stores in September and the singer can’t hide her excitement. “So excited to finally share the bottle design for my fragrance with you. I'm so in love with this and absolutely cannot wait to share it with you ,” she wrote on Instagram.
