One of the pics shared by co-star Joel Kinnaman shows the 25-year-old Australian beauty inscribing the word “SKWAD” into the arm of the film's director, David Ayer. Another of Joel's snaps has the 35-year-old flashing his matching ink alongside the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star.

Joel's caption says it all: "Got my #skwad tattoo:) Will has many many talents, tattooing is not one of them. It was like watching a drunk baby fly a helicopter. #suicidesquad #willsmith #harleystattooparlour."

Jai Courtney, who plays Captain Boomerang in the film, also posted a picture of his SKWAD tattoo on Instagram, though the Australian star didn't reveal who did the artwork.

It's not new news that actors and actresses develop a special bond throughout the filming process. Michelle Williams and Busy Philips became the best of buds while shooting Dawson's Creek, and Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have been inseparable since meeting on the set of Friends. Even the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring got the word "Nine" tattooed on their bodies post-filming. Still, this is the first time we've heard of cast members etching each other.

The crew of Suicide Squad has been busy shooting the highly anticipated comic book thriller for months. Many of the most dramatic scenes were filmed in downtown Toronto, a move that required major intersections to be shut down and buildings vacated. The film is set to be released on August 5, 2016.
