Eugenie Bouchard sings Celine Dion's 'I Drove All Night'

Canadian tennis ace Eugenie Bouchard took a break from battling for glory at this year’s US Open in New York to show off another talent; singing. During an interview, the 21-year-old was challenged to sing a verse from her go-to karaoke song, which just happens to be Celine Dion’s hit single, “I Drove All Night.” And like any good competitor, Eugenie delivered.

The former Flare cover girl belted out the chorus of the song, and although she was a bit shaky, she gave it her all. Making the vocal performance all that much sweeter for the athlete was having the Canadian icon acknowledge it on Twitter. Celine retweeted the clip to her more than 300,000 fans.

During the interview, Eugenie was hit with a series of rapid-fire questions that revealed some fun facts about the star. Her dream celebrity doubles partner is Blake Lively, her favourite TV show is The Big Bang Theory, she hates Brussels sprouts and if she were an animal, she says she would be a lion.

Celine isn’t the only Canadian singer that has a fan in Eugenie. The blond beauty shared her love for Shania Twain earlier this summer by posting a video from her concert. In the clip, the Montreal native is seen freaking out after the country superstar gave her a high five while making her way through the sold-out arena.

Speaking of fans, Eugenie has found one in One Direction’s Niall Horan. The Irish singer watched as she sailed to victory over Polona Hercog in the third round of the grand slam competition. “Thanks for the support @NiallOfficial,” she tweeted after the match, which received a friendly response from the heartthrob, “Hahaha No problem genie .. Nice to meet you.”
