Chrissy Teigen fed up with 'unsolicited pregnancy advice' over dyed foods

It’s only been a few weeks since Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend announced that they are expecting their first child, and the first-time mother-to-be has already been forced to defend herself twice against hurtful criticism.

After body shamers made comments about the size of her baby bump, the model vowed, “No more preg tweeting for me, lesson learned!! Back to food and reality TV and hay things.” But a recent Instagram post showing the 29-year-old eating some Cap’n Crunch and Fruity Pebbles cereal ignited a flurry of comments about the negative impact of eating artificially coloured food.

“If you wanna give me unsolicited baby advice on the damn cereal I eat/what I wear, u better unlock your profile so I can see your perfection,” tweeted the star on Thursday (Oct. 29). “Yes I am living off dyed food. Tuna too!! Gonna try to dye my tuna actually. Then have an icy, dyed vodka soda and that’s just lunch.”

The happy couple’s baby news came after a long struggle with fertility issues. The FABLife co-host opened up about her experience during a segment on her daytime talk show. “Every single time I sit down for an interview with anybody…I will say, just being two years into being married, the questions just come from all over,” she revealed to co-host Tyra Banks. “John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened. But my gosh, it’s been a process.”
