Justin Bieber finds an unexpected selfie partner in Jennifer Aniston

Justin Bieber shared an eye-catching Instagram selfie on Wednesday (Nov. 11). Rather than posing with one of the many high-profile friends, the "What Do You Mean" singer surprised his fans when he popped up on their feeds with recently married actress Jennifer Aniston.

The black-and-white snap shows Jennifer smiling as she stands next to the 21-year-old star, who appeared shocked to be in the company of the Friends actress. It is not known where the pair met, but it may have been backstage at The Ellen Show, where Justin is celebrating his new album release with "Bieber Week."

While Justin and Jennifer appear to be unlikely friends, they do have one person in common – Selena Gomez. Justin's former girlfriend has previously proclaimed Jennifer to be her idol and revealed that they had struck up a friendship after meeting in December.

"We met through my management … they manage her as well, so it was kind of like a friendly meeting and instantly she's, like, inviting me to her house," Selena said during an interview with KTU Radio in June. "She has a pizza oven. Like, we've made pizzas at her house. She's very cool and very sweet. She kind of gives me a lot of, like, maternal advice."

It's our little tradition ❤

Jennifer is also friends with Justin's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

While Selena and Justin parted ways after a tumultuous three-year relationship, the Canadian singer has recently said they still talk and she will always have a special place in his life.

"She's my homie, we're friends," Justin told Us Weekly. "We don't talk every day, but every now and then. I think we didn't really know what we were doing. [We were] young and we kinda just invested too much of ourselves into each other."

He also said he had learned a lot from their relationship. "About life, how to treat women, what women want and need. I think a woman needs security," Justin said. "I think a woman needs to feel that security and know that nothing else matters. I learned that with her."
