Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are chugging through their first few months of marriage in a blissfully happy state. The newlyweds, who tied the knot three months ago in a private ceremony, posed with Justin's arm sweetly around his wife at an event in New York over the weekend.
The couple were supporting Justin's best man, tattoo artist Scott Campbell, who recently collaborated with a winemaker to produce a range of wines named for his Saved studio in Brooklyn. Their contented appearance at the event comes after The Leftovers star revealed that he tells his new wife all the time how wonderful she is.
"She's beautiful. Not to be corny, but it's true. So I constantly say that," the 44-year-old actor told Entertainment Tonight.
One aspect they are less in agreement about is Justin's love of virtual video gaming with his friends.
He said, "Wifey is like, 'Where are you?' She still doesn't see it as a social app. Like, I am hanging out with my friends, technically, and she's like, 'No. You are sitting there watching a TV playing a game.'"
The Therouxs were so determined to keep their wedding in August private that Jennifer told all but a handful of guests that they were invited to a surprise birthday party for Justin. The couple also asked guests to hand in their mobile phones when they arrived at their Bel-Air home so that nobody could take photos.
"It was amazing. We were determined to keep it just private and to ourselves. And the thing is, we haven't even seen pictures," Jennifer told makeup artist Bobbi Brown for Yahoo! Style.
"It was just everything we wanted it to be, and [we are] very happy that we didn't have to see our faces on the cover of a magazine."
Jen in particular wanted to keep the details of their big day private, telling Entertainment Tonight, "We had the beautiful luxury of having a beautiful private moment and I'm going to be selfish and keep it that way!"
However, the groom has been slightly more forthcoming with details, revealing that their close friend Jimmy Kimmel cried while officiating at their nuptials and admitting that it was difficult keeping the wedding quiet.
He also explained the decision behind their group honeymoon with Courteney Cox and Justin Bateman among others in Bora Bora.
"It was a fantastic honeymoon," Justin told Extra. "We had thought about it; we could just do a normal honeymoon or we could go with some friends, keep the party going, relax and have fun. It was really special, it was really beautiful."
