Pippa Middleton is reportedly on a "trial run" living with her boyfriend of two months, James Matthews. In the latest indication that their whirlwind romance is going strong, the Duchess of Cambridge's sister has moved into his $35-million Chelsea townhouse.
"It's all moved very quickly," a source close to the couple told the Sun. "They've been friends for a long time, but James has always been keen.
"They've tested living there and all seems to have gone well. As she was spending so much time at James's it made sense to keep stuff there."
The fledgling relationship also appears to have the approval of Pippa's mother, Carole Middleton. On Thursday evening she was spotted dining out with the happy couple at the Indian restaurant Rasoi.
Pippa, 32, and 40-year-old James – older brother of Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews – first dated back in 2012. Following their split, she dated banker Nico Jackson for three years, but they ended their relationship in October following his move to Switzerland.
James and Pippa saw in the new year together on the Caribbean island of St. Bart's, where his parents own and manage the Eden Rock Hotel. Rather than stay there, however, the couple stayed in a villa in the hills, overlooking the capital, Gustavia, with her brother, James, 28, and his girlfriend Donna Air.
A source said at the time, "James is really in to Pippa and she is falling in step. There is affection between them."
James, a graduate of Eton College, is the chief executive of investment firm Eden Rock Capital Management, which he founded in 2001.
