Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds don't often step out for public date nights, but the picture-perfect parents left their little girl at home this week for a rare appearance – and they're clearly as smitten as ever. The actors were dressed to impress on Monday (Feb. 8) at they posed for photos at a Deadpool fan event in New York City.
It was a special evening for the pair, who have not walked a red carpet together since welcoming their 14-month-old daughter James in December 2014.
Style icon Blake, 28, looked stunning in a white Chanel Haute Couture dress featuring colourful rhinestone embellishments as she supported her husband's new superhero movie. She teamed the dress with strappy heels, diamond earrings and her hair in loose Hollywood waves.

Not to be outdone, her husband looked dapper in a blue suit and tie with a polka-dot white-and-blue shirt.
Blake and Ryan, 39, have been married since September 2012, and the loved-up couple says their feelings have only grown stronger since welcoming their baby girl.
"When that happens you fall so much in love with your partner. It's a pretty crazy experience," Ryan told E! News shortly after James' arrival. "What blows my mind is that it is so common yet it is so profound at the same time. Something so many people do."
The couple has chosen to keep their daughter out of the spotlight, but Ryan in particular has been open about his experiences of parenthood.
"I'm surprised how patient I am with it," Ryan told GQ in September. "I feel like I could sometimes have a bit of a short fuse, but there's just been this weirdly endless supply of patience.
"I have no problem waking up five times in the middle of the night and changing diapers, and as exhausted as you get, I have this stupid grin on my face all the time. And that's not because I have a nanny or something like that. It's just us right now, and I love it."
Like Blake, who is the youngest of four children, Ryan is the youngest of four boys. Naturally, the new parents are keen to have a big family, and they've made no secret of their plans.
"I genuinely like it. I like being a father. I like having a daughter," said Ryan. "I would like to have more kids. You know, it seems to suit me pretty well."
