Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband of 13 years, Freddie Prinze Jr, have been feeding our relationship goals for years - and Sarah's adorable birthday message to her man is no exception for one of Hollywood's most enduring couples. "#happybirthday to this guy… @realfreddieprinze who makes me smile like this everyday ❤❤❤," the actress wrote on Tuesday (Mar. 8), along with a photo of Freddie kissing her cheek.

After more than 15 years together, Sarah Michelle and Freddie are happier than ever. The smitten stars first met in 1997 when they were filming the teen horror movie I Know What You Did Last Summer, and started dating in 2000. They married two years later, on 1 September 2002, and are now proud parents to two children; daughter Charlotte Grace, six, and three-year-old son Rocky.

It's an exciting time for Sarah Michelle – last month the actress announced she would be bringing back her Cruel Intentions character Kathryn Merteuil for a special TV reboot of the hit film.

The star shared a photo of herself transformed into Kathryn Merteuil with her fans

To the delight of her fans, the star uploaded a photo on Instagram on Monday, showing her officially transformed into sharp-tongued Kathryn on the set of the show. In the mirror selfie, Sarah Michelle can be seen with her newly-dyed brunette hair pulled back into a chignon, and wearing a black top and printed coral skirt.

" Don't think she's much of a jeans and tee shirt kind of girl," the 38-year-old captioned the snapshot, adding the hashtags, "#Crueltv #makeup #kathrynmerteuil."

The actress also uploaded a photo of the pilot script

NBC's series will center on teenager Bash Casey (Taylor John Smith), the son of the late Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillippe) and Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon). Kathryn – Sebastian's stepsister – will attempt to take control of Bash's family's company Valmont International, as well as manipulate her young nephew.

Last week, Sarah Michelle shared a photograph of the TV show's pilot script, writing alongside: "How I am spending the 17 anniversary of the release of #cruelintentions #Crueltv."
