Emma Watson and Lin-Manuel Miranda freestyle a rap for HeForShe campaign

Emma Watson has taken her dedication to her HeForShe campaign to new musical heights. The actress teamed up with Broadway's Lin-Manuel Miranda to create a rap about gender equality. “This is going to be bad, this is going to be so embarrassing,” said the 25-year-old before showcasing her beat boxing skills.

The Harry Potter star not only nailed her performance, she also impressed her GRAMMY-award winning musical partner, who told the star, “That was the best!"

After overcoming a fit of giggles, the UN goodwill ambassador set the perfect beat for the Hamilton star to work his lyrical magic. “How can we not be equal? Women are half of the people on earth. Yes they should have been cut equal since birth. That means all day, every day, equal pay, okay?” After finishing her beat boxing, an embarrassed Emma gasped, “I'm literally the colour of a tomato, I'm so red right now.”

Emma was pleased to learn that Lin-Manuel is one of many men who are standing up for women’s rights. To support equality around the world, the British star launched the HeForShe campaign in Sept. 2014. The initiative’s mission reads: "HeForShe is inviting people around the world to stand together to create a bold, visible force for gender equality. And it starts by taking action right now to create a gender equal world."
