Blake Lively says daughter James looks like Ryan Reynolds but inherited her 'clammy hands'

Though we're yet to see a photo of James Reynolds, the 18-month-old daughter of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, it's becoming clear that she's destined to be one of Hollywood's best-looking babes. Her 28-year-old mother told Marie Claire that the toddler spent about six months looking like a "doppelganger" of her famous dad and one-time Sexiest Man Alive.

But the hilarious actress insists that some of her traits are starting to shine through. “She has my clammy hands!” she told the magazine. “And my heavy eyelids, my meaty eyelids.”

The pregnant actress shared the information with the magazine alongside other personal details of her private life, about which she rarely speaks. Her silence is due, in part, to their admiration for the childhood Ryan had with his family in Vancouver.

"Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had. We don't ever want to rob them of what we had, because we'd feel really selfish."

That's also why we haven't seen many photos of James, though her parents make regular public appearances.

Speaking specifically about paparazzi and images of her daughter, Blake said, "I'd rather not have to deal with it at all, but we knew the lifestyle we were getting into, and while it's hard... it's another thing when it's our child. She didn't have the opportunity to make a decision about what she wants."

On a lighter note, the Gossip Girl star spoke candidly about her relationship with the Deadpool actor and why she chose to marry him.

"I knew he would always be my best friend for my whole life. That was the biggest thing to me. I'd never known anything like the friendship that I had with him. I could like him as much as I loved him."

Though the soon-to-be mom to two has three movies about to hit theatres - including the shark thriller The Shallows - she admitted that her heart is always at home.

"All my eggs are in one basket, and that's my family. That's where my heart is. That's where my everything is."
