Justin Theroux doesn't mind if you call him 'Mr. Jennifer Aniston'

Justin Theroux says that is it an "honour" to be addressed as "Mr. Jennifer Aniston." The charming actor further praised his wife Jennifer Aniston for never faltering when faced with lots of scrutiny and pressure.

The 45-year-old's comment comes soon after the drama surrounding the Friends star's ex-husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce was announced.

TAP FOR GALLERY Justin Theroux has hailed his wife Jennifer Aniston in a new interview.

"It doesn't really get under my skin," he said in a new interview with The Sunday Times. "It's just one of those things that's a shorthand for describing who I am."

"Many people would have crumbled under some of the stresses that have been put on her," he added. "I'm very proud of her for that, for the way she handles herself. So in a weird way it's an honour to stand behind her. Truly, in that sense, she's amazing."

The 45-year-old said he doesn't mind being referred to as "Mr. Jennifer Aniston."

Jennifer and Brad were famously married for five years before divorcing in 2005, the same year he was filming Mr & Mrs Smith with Angelina.

And although Jennifer has not commented on Brad's split from Angelina, her husband Justin gave a surprisingly honest response when quizzed about his thoughts.

Theroux and Aniston tied the knot in August 2015 after dating for four years.

"As a child of divorce, all I can say is that's terrible news for those children, and that's all you can really say," he told Business Insider. "It's boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time. That's horrible."
