Celine Dion jumped on Facebook Live on Thursday evening (Dec. 1) to perform a very special holiday song for her beloved fans. The Canadian songstress streamed live from her studio, where she is hard at work on her new English album.
"As you know this past year was filled with bittersweet moments for me as it has been for others I'm pretty sure," said the mother of three, referring to the loss of her husband René Angélil. "Since we're here in the studio tonight, I thought of offering you my version of one of my favourite holiday songs," said Celine, adding, " I hope you like it. Happy Holidays. Be blessed and be safe. I love you all."
The 48-year-old then delivered a breathtaking rendition of Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson's "Winter Song," complete with a pianist and cellist.
For fans who missed the performance, Celine has promised to post the video on her official YouTube channel.
