Wednesday night, Blake Lively took home some hardware from the People's Choice Awards, and in her acceptance speech she gushed over her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

“[He's] everything to me,” she said as she wrapped up her speech. Then, over exit music, she shouted, “You can’t have him, he’s mine. Thank you!”

TAP FOR GALLERY Blake told the audience that when it comes to husband Ryan, "You can't have him!"

Her sentiments echo those of her 40-year-old partner who has been saying swoon-worthy things about the actress for the past few months.

Back in December when he accepted his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he said, "I want to thank my wife, Blake... who is everything to me... You make absolutely everything in my life better. You've given me two of the most incredible children that I could ever hoped to have."

He went on to say, "You've made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had 'fun uncle' potential."

The couple are happy parents to two daughters - James, 2, and four-month-old Ines.

Blake caught up with fellow winner Tom Hanks at the show.

Looking incredible in a shiny, fringe Elie Saab cocktail dress, the 29-year-old Gossip Girl star nabbed the award for Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress for her role in The Shallows.

Chatting up her husband wasn't the only fun nuggets she shared during her time on stage.

The star also thanked her mom saying she, "“always taught me as a kid you can’t ever let anyone limit you. Don’t ever let anyone tell you there’s something you can’t do and yeah, It was pretty cool... thanks mom!”

She also referenced the Spice Girls as she discussed girl power and the emerging role of feminism in today's society.

"They were women and they owned who they were and that was my first introduction into girl power and I’m watching this movie and the women nominated in this category and when you guys voted for this, you didn’t just vote for this movie or me but you voted for girl power.”

Blake beat out Emily Blunt, Julia Roberts, Amy Adams and Meryl Streep to take home the trophy.
