Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Korsh discussed some of the rumours surrounding the duo's burgeoning relationship and how it affected filming. In particular, he spoke about the reports that said the 35-year-old actress asked for time away from filming so she could be with her beau.
"Let me just say that Meghan asked for one day off," he said. "It was a total of three days because we had scheduled her for two days off months before. We were happy to give that to her."
Aaron went on to defend her actions and say the request was perfectly normal: "The cast members often have things they want to try and make out of town and we always try to accommodate their requests as much as possible. It was not an unreasonable request or uncommon request and it was easily granted."
He added that he's happy that the honorary Torontonian has found love.
"I’m happy for any and all of my cast members that are in any kind of relationship that is bringing them joy and happiness. We always try to make our production schedule work for all of the cast. They have babies, they get married. They’re living their lives."
One thing he did note was that life for the entire Suits cast has become crazier since news of the high-profile romance broke.
"The added publicity came very late in the season for us so we didn’t really have a massive amount of time under that added publicity. If anything was more of a strain, it was the concern of outside paparazzi."
Even though that caused some stress for Meghan's colleagues, it didn't affect their working relationship.
"The thing is these people have been working together – crew, cast, even many of the extras – for five years. We’ve been operating as a family for so long and that hasn’t really changed."
The release of the interview comes on the heels of a Reddit "Ask me Anything" that the actress's co-star Patrick J. Adams did on Wednesday night.
The actor who plays Meghan's love interest on Suits, Mike Ross, was asked by one user "What's it like making out onscreen with the potentially future princess of England?"
His response was short and to the point: "The same as it was before she was potentially a future princess of England."
