In 2016, the 24-year-old literally wore her devotion for the "Power of Love" singer on her shirt after attending one of Celine’s shows in Las Vegas.

She and a few friends swung by the performance wearing Dion shirts and shared every snap from the affair on social media.

In many of the posts Selena can be heard singing some of the Canadian icon’s greatest hits, including "Because You Loved Me."

At one point, the pair even had the chance to meet backstage.

The legendary country singer has openly credited the French artist with making her feel comfortable about performing in Las Vegas. Shania took on a long-standing residency in the city based on advice she received from Celine.

“My producers AEG do such a good job, and Caesars Palace, they are just all so good at this. I thank Celine [Dion]; I honestly do because she has been here for so long. I think everybody has learned how to make the scenario work through the experience of Celine,” Shania said in an interview with the Las Vegas Sun.

The Québécois filmmaker is a big fan of the artist, largely because he grew up listening to her tunes.

“I was brought up listening to her songs with my mom,” he told Out.com.

So in love is he with her career, that he included a dance sequence to her beats in the film Mommy. The moment sees the film’s three leads dancing to "My Heart Will Go On" from his favourite film, Titanic.

There are several adorable photos of the pair joyfully engaging in conversation, and Emma, who plays Belle in the film, told Jimmy Kimmel that meeting the singer was almost “too much” for her.

"You have to understand, my parents do not really understand celebrities or Hollywood or whatever else, but my mom and I used to play Celine Dion in the car non-stop,” she noted. "Being able to tell [my mom] that I met her... I was like, 'She’s gonna lose it. She’s gonna know who Celine Dion is.”

The 30-year-old star has publicly stated that Celine is her idol, so when the duo finally met at the 2017 Grammys, the Glee talent had a hard time playing it cool. Here’s how the whole meet-and-greet played out according to an interview she gave to ET.

“OK, so she was getting out of a car just now, and I was literally just alone standing outside of the hotel and I was like, 'I'm not gonna fangirl out,'" she recalled. "Because I get it… it's a big day today. So, I just stood there and she looked at me and she goes, 'You look beautiful,' and then of course I was like, 'I'm the biggest fan,' and we shook hands. She's amazing, so I just take it as a sign from God that it's gonna be a good day."

Lea even tweeted about their meeting, saying "Just met @celinedion I'm DEAD it's going to be a good day."

When the singer star spotted Celine on the red carpet, she interrupted an interview she was doing with ET just to say hi.

The "Paparazzi" singer seemed speechless at meeting the mom to three and quickly went on to hug her and give her the peace sign.

As she was ushered along the carpet, Celine quietly repaid the compliment by saying, “Congratulations on the Super Bowl, you're amazing… I love you!”
