Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston have supported each other’s projects over the years, but could the couple be working together on a new television series?

The Girl on the Train star revealed in a recent interview that he would love to work with his wife again (the couple starred together in 2012’s Wanderlust). “It would be fantastic if we were able to do something together,” Justin stated. Although The Leftovers actor explained to ET that he would only be willing to write a scripted series for Jennifer, "if the right thing came around.”

Jennifer Aniston recently opened up about wanting to return to the small screen.

This is not the first time the two Hollywood A-listers have discussed collaborating again on a project together, as the 45-year-old actor stated “[they have] toss[ed] around ideas occasionally.”

Justin’s recent statements come three months after Jennifer opened up about wanting to return to the small screen. "I've thought about it a lot. That's where the work is. That's where the quality is," she told Variety. The Horrible Bosses actress added that there is no reason for her to not work again in TV as all of the great roles are happening there, “everything you're seeing on television is fantastic.”

Whether they work together again or not, the couple’s love appears to be stronger than ever. They recently celebrated Jennifer’s 48 th birthday in Mexico with Courteney Cox and her on-again-off-again fiancé Johnny McDaid. When it comes to buying his ladylove the perfect present, Justin admitted to Extra that simple and easy reigns supreme. “It’s always a critical moment, because I have Christmas, her birthday and Valentine’s Day in pretty short order, so I start shopping in November. It’s usually something that is the easiest thing in the world — a snuggie,” he explained, adding that it’s difficult to find a present that the actress truly needs. “I’ve given up on mass pieces of jewelry or clothes. She’s got all that. It’s usually something like an amazing pair of flip-flops, something she can get cozy with.”
