He loves the Dixie Chicks

The Rock’s diehard fans might be surprised to learn that the former WWE wrestler loves himself some Dixie Chicks. He even rocks out to their tunes in the car! Here’s hoping he shares some video evidence on Instagram.

He (possibly) has his sights set on the White House

The 45-year-old admitted that he is open to the idea of putting his acting career on hold to run for president of the United States. "I think that it's a real possibility,” he told the publication. Only time will tell if #DwayneJohnson2020 becomes reality.

He has amazing penmanship

For a man who looks like he’d break a pen by just holding it, the muscular superstar actually has lovely handwriting. The actor keeps a workout handbook handy in his gym bag and his penmanship skills are described as “slender and elegant” by the interviewer.

He didn’t always live a glamorous life

Even though he is the son of the famous Nova Scotian wrestler Rocky Johnson, Dwayne revealed that his early years were anything but financially charmed. In fact, he grew up poor and his family was evicted from the one-room apartment they lived in during his adolescence. “We had no money,” he explained.

He is all about girl power

The Moana star, who is a father to daughters Simone, 15, and one-year-old Jasmine, credits his feminist outlook to being raised by “strong women.”

He loves hearing about everyone’s back stories

No matter who he meets, celebrities and fans alike, Dwayne loves learning everything he can about a person. From where they grew up to what they are up to now, the actor is thirsty for information. He even wanted to learn about Scarlett Johansson’s life story when they met backstage rehearsing for this year’s Oscars.
