Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava to make Debutante Ball debut

By: Meaghan Wray

Though the world knows her as Reese Witherspoon ’s look-alike daughter, Ava Phillippe is ready to step into the spotlight all on her own. Following in the footsteps of other celebrity daughters, the 18-year-old will debut at the famous le Bal des Débutantes in Paris on Nov. 25.

According to Vanity Fair, the stunning teen will be accompanied by escort Maharaja Padmanabh Singh, a polo player and member of the former ruling family of Jaipur. But, of course, what is an entrance without a gorgeous gown to match? If Ava’s previous red carpet ensembles are any indication, she’ll wow the crowd in a dress by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture.

Many other Hollywood offspring have made their formal debut at the ball, including, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughters Scout and Tallulah Willis, Sylvester Stallone ’s daughter Sophia Rose Stallone, Robert Kennedy Jr’s daughter Kyra Kennedy and Larry David’s daughter, Romy David.

No one will be more proud to see Ava make her debut than her loving mom, Reese. After welcoming her daughter at the age of 23, the Oscar-winning actress has revealed that she feels an incredibly close bond with Ava because ‘we grew up together.”

Reese will soon have to face another milestone in her daughter’s life – college. The actress is already preparing herself for when her ‘best friend’ flies the coup. “We do everything together, it’s going to be hard for her to leave! But I have another year,” she told Entertainment Tonight, adding, “I alternative between crying and feeling really proud of the woman she’s become.”
