Kim Kardashian is well known for her extravagant party planning, so naturally, the reality star pulled out all the stops to celebrate the impending arrival of her third child.

TAP FOR GALLERYKim had her recently sold Bel-Air mansion decorated as a cherry blossom forest.

Aptly named “Tea for Three,” the luxe baby shower was beautifully decorated with a myriad of cherry blossom trees, which, perfect for a shower, are a symbol of renewal and life. The gorgeous blossoms were decorated with twinkle lights, giving the venue a true fairy-tale vibe.

Kim and her husband Kanye West are already parents of two – North, 4, and Saint, who turns two this month. Big sister North attended the baby bash wearing an adorable pink dress and furry slippers.

The couple decided to have a third child via surrogacy after doctor’s advised Kim against carrying another baby. The realty star suffers from a dangerous condition called placenta accrete, which occurs when the placenta’s blood vessels attach too deeply to the uterus’ walls leading to complications such as blood loss and the inability to conceive again.

The 37-year-old has been open about her experiences with the condition in the past, and called the procedure she underwent following the birth of North in 2013 “the most painful experience of my life." Writing in a blog post shortly after, Kim explained: "Right after delivery, the placenta usually then comes out. Mine did not. My placenta stayed attached inside my uterus, which is a condition called placenta accreta. My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails. How disgusting and painful!!!"
