Although the end of Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris' relationship at first seemed amicable, things seem to have turned sour between them in light of Taylor's new romance with Tom Hiddleston. In a series of Instagram comments, which have since been deleted, Calvin opened up to fans about the split, suggesting that it was the Shake it Off singer who ended the relationship, and that she "controlled the media" during their break-up.

The Scottish-born star replied to several fans' comments on his Instagram account, giving hints at how his relationship ended with the pop star. He suggested to one fan that Taylor called time on their 15-month romance, saying: "Bro I didn't leave anyone and she's def not sad. It's all good."

Taylor and Calvin broke up in June

Speaking about the break-up, he added: "She controlled the media and this situation, I had no idea what was going on. So that kind of makes it a lot worse from my perspective."

However, when someone asked him why he hated the 26-year-old, he assured fans he didn't. "I don't at all," he replied. He also mentioned Taylor's new relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston, saying he wasn't jealous but "free" following the end of their union.

The Summer DJ also hinted that Taylor had ended their relationship to be with the actor. When one Instagram user commented: "For all we know Taylor broke up with him to be with another man and this is quite upsetting. I would be hurt by that too. He's not being mean. He deserves to feel free while he's single and not feel jealous," Calvin replied by writing: "You're the only smart one at this point."
