One Piece, Two Ways: How to style a cowl-neck tunic

We're no strangers to cowl-necked tunics, shirts and dresses. One need look no further than Pippa Middleton's figure-hugging white gown at the royal wedding, which draped beautifully at the neckline as Kate's athletic sister made a striking appearance outside the church.

On Scandal, Olivia Pope (played by Kerry Washington) is queen of the D.C. power suit - and, with it, the cowl-neck blouse underneath.

But when the volume increases and this particular neckline is found on a chunky tunic sweater, you don't want to get lost in the fabric. Little tricks like belting and layering are great ways to maintain your girlish figure while rocking the super cozy topper.

Fashion editor Ally Dean has two flawless ways to style your oversized, cowl-neck tunic - dressed down with a scarf and slacks or made office-appropriate with an athletic-inspired pencil-skirt, belt and jacket. Check them out in the video below!
