Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry go dark in the front row at Paris Fashion Week

Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry were keen to show their dark sides at Givenchy on Sunday night (Mar. 8), donning striking, black ensembles and stealing the show as they took to the front row. The pair looked effortlessly cool showing off their gothic sides at one of the most anticipated shows during Paris Fashion Week (TAG).

Kim, 34, flaunted her famous figure in a sleek gown with a lace-up plunging neckline as she arrived for the glitzy evening with rapper husband Kanye West and mother Kris Jenner. Meanwhile Katy, 30, looked stunning in a dress which featured off-the-shoulder sleeves and lace detailing, completing her look with a slick of matte purple lipstick and a pair of dazzling golden statement earrings.

The stylish duo lead the stream of star-studded front rows during this season’s Paris Fashion Week, which has seen the likes of Olivia Palermo, Kelly Rowland and Solange Knowles stepping out to watch the autumn/winter 2015 shows. Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson made her Paris Fashion Week debut as she arrived for the Christian Dior show, where she joined singer Lorde on the front row to see Raf Simons’ latest creations.

It’s also proved an opportunity for friends to catch up, as Kanye was reunited with Paul McCartney at the Stella McCartney show, a few weeks after the pair released the single FourFiveSeconds, which they recorded with pop star Rihanna.

Meanwhile, the Lanvin show saw a star-studded front row including the likes of Jared Leto, Solange Knowles, Kelly Rowland who sat alongside Kim and Kanye for the striking catwalk show.

Kim had surprised fans earlier that day as she unveiled a dramatic new hair colour, having dyed her usually dark chocolate brown locks into an ice-blonde shade. The mother-of-one was virtually unrecognisable as she revealed her new tresses at the Balmain show, wearing her long bob slicked back for a dramatic look.
