While the Keeping up with the Kardashians star, 34, is usually spotted rocking famous designers such as Balmain or Givenchy, this time she chose to champion relatively unknown French designer Sophie Theallet, who created the dress as part of her spring 2015 collection.

Meanwhile Kanye, who recently opened up about pursuing a career in fashion, was the epitome of cool in a dark velvet jacket, black trousers and shoes and a white shirt.

The stylish couple, who were both included in Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world, weren’t the only stars to turn heads at the glitzy event, which took place at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Supermodels Karlie Kloss and Naomi Campbell were spotted catching up

Harry Potter star Emma Watson turned to iconic fashion house Dior for her ensemble, and wowed in a chic black top with off-the-shoulder sleeves, which she paired with tailored grey ankle-grazing trousers. Never one to shy away from envelope-pushing fashion, Emma chose the trousers which featured an oversized sash. She completed the look with a pair of chic black strappy stilettos and a box clutch bag.

Meanwhile, supermodel Karlie Kloss made waves as she arrived at the star-studded party in a sleek floor-length black gown with sheer panelling to give fans a glimpse of her enviably toned figure. The star, who was spotted catching up with fellow model Naomi Campbell later in the evening, completed the look with a black snakeskin pattern clutch bag and black stilettos, as well as golden bangles. She also rocked a slick of statement red lipstick to bring a touch of old Hollywood to her look.
