The Week's Best Celebrity Style: Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Laverne Cox and more

By Nicole Carrington

Mark our words: this summer is going to be white hot! From Kim Kardashian to Jamie Chung, stars are opting for ivory this season in everything from the LWD (that’s little white dress, of course!) to the chic and streamlined jumpsuit.

Kim Kardashian looked marvellously modern at Variety’s Power of Women NYC event in a cream-coloured Narciso Rodriguez ensemble featuring a wide-leg pant, illusion mesh bodice and ankle-length vest. Meanwhile, mom-to-be Naya Rivera attended the 101stWhite House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in a minimalist, floor-length gown by Tadashi Shoji, topped off with a metallic clutch and diamond-encrusted jewelry.

Style maverick Jamie Chung punctuated her off-white midi skirt and silk camisole with a pattered jacket by Tularosa, fringed cherry-red Aquazzura sandals and a Kate Spade envelope clutch. And at the 42nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards, television presenter Renee Bargh stunned in a caped jumpsuit by Elie Saab, Neil Lane jewels and an Oroton clutch.

Orange is the New Black's Laverne Coxand Scandal's Darby Stanchfield looked positively dreamy at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner - Laverne in a taupe mermaid gown by Ines de Santo complemented perfectly by tousled waves and nude lips, and Darby in a darling jacquard dress by Lumida Corlanteanu with a deep v-neck and asymmetrical hem.

Florals also bloomed for the season – both Nicky Hilton and actress Juana Acosta showcased the print beautifully this week. Nicky stepped out at a DuJour Magazine event in New York in a cheerful blue romper which she tapered down with Stuart Weitzman’s knee high boots and a leather motorcycle jacket, while Juana played up the feminine factor in a pink Michael Kors tea dress and bold suede pumps.
