After weeks of anticipation among the British royals and the world at large, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middletonsaid hello to the newest member of their family: Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. And a new princess calls for a new dress, custom in Kate's case, and designed by one of her favourite collaborators, Jenny Packham. The Duchess looked radiant in the chic, cream-and-yellow dress, which she paired with nude Jimmy Choo stilettos.

The Queen was visiting Richmond Castle in North Yorkshire when the little princess arrived, but she acknowledged the birth by wearing pink during her day of engagements. The stylish monarch, who now has five great-grandchildren, paid a sartorial tribute to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s newborn daughter by sporting a vibrant fuschia coat and matching hat.

Elsewhere in the world, Queen Mathilde of the Belgians was the epitome of chic in a pale blue ensemble as she and daughter Princess Elisabeth headed to the naval base of Zeebrugge to name the patrol boat P902 Pollux. The stylish royal looked elegant in a pale-blue pleated skirt and jacket, completing her look with a matching pillbox hat, nude patent stilettos and a pair of pearl earrings.

Meanwhile, Queen Letizia of Spain was the epitome of business chic as she headed to a Spanish Association Against Cancer Meeting in Madrid. The mother-of-two showed off her fashion-forward style credentials in a blue tweed jacket paired with a pleated cream high-necked blouse and a pair of flared navy blue trousers. She completed her chic ensemble with a black leather handbag and a pair of patent navy stilettos.

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands also showed off her effortlessly glamorous style when she joined husband King Willem-Alexander at the Liberation concert at the Amstel in Amsterdam. The mother-of-three looked radiant as she arrived for the concert, wrapping up warm in a chic shawl.
