Katy Perry has landed herself a new gig, one that will place her at the forefront of major fashion label Moschino. The 30-year-old confirmed that she’s the new face of the brand by posting the first campaign photo on Instagram Wednesday night (June 10).
The snap shows Katy channelling her inner ’90s girl (and a little bit of Kris Jenner) while wearing a gold bralette, a fitted black skirt and a patchwork denim jacket. Her look is capped off with massive gold necklaces and chains.
The caption she used was simple: “THE FACE OF MOSCHINO.”
It’s no real surprise that the “Roar” singer would team up with the Italian label. For years, she’s donned Moschino for red carpet events (including the Met Gala), and earlier in 2015, she wore designer Jeremy Scott’s wares to the Superbowl.

According to The Cut, the duo’s friendship came about before Katy released her first album back in 2001. Jeremy told the outlet that she “came to me before she even had her first album and told me I was her favourite designer, and she hoped one day I would make her costumes.” The 41-year-old designer is also buds with Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj.
Shot by famed photographers Inez and Vindooh, the entire Moschino x Katy Perry ad campaign will hit billboards and magazines in fall 2015.
