The week's best celebrity style: Cara Delevingne, Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson and more

By Nicole Carrington

Prints made a major impression this week, from houndstooth — a more traditional iteration on starlet Jena Malone and wilder approach on Cara Delevingne — to a kaleidoscopic pattern on Zoe Saldana and a sweet floral on Sandra Bullock.

Jena Malone stepped out at Max Mara’s Women in Film party wearing a ladylike houndstooth dress in a soft caramel hue — and we love how she threw a denim topper over her shoulders to keep the prim look youthful. Never one to play it safe, Jenna injected that cool girl factor with a slicked-back ‘do and dewy makeup.

Also taking houndstooth from a winter staple to a summer must-have was Cara Delevingne, who attended the Berlin photocall for her silver-screen debut, Paper Towns, in a Mary Katrantzou ensemble that unexpectedly married deep crimson with a neon bright for a super fresh look.

Hollywood heavyweight Zoe Saldana made a delightful vintage ode in a single-sleeve Louis Vuitton frock with a ruffled collar and vibrant kaleidoscopic print. An effortless blow out and minimal makeup keep the look in the 21st century.

At the Crystal + Lucy Women in Film Awards, Oscar winner Sandra Bullock also went asymmetrical in a Monique Lhuillier midi dress with a eye-catching shimmery bodice and metallic floral-printed skirt.

Pastel hues were also on point this week as both Holland Roden and Zendaya Coleman added some major sweetness to their looks; Holland in a cutout romper by Yigal Azrouel paired with scallop-trim pumps and a mint green clutch, and Zendaya in an Elizabeth and James ensemble with a rose coloured vest and knee-length skirt.

Also among our selects are UnReal star Constance Zimmer in a sexy navy sheath by Max Mara, American Horror Story’s Sarah Paulson in Yanina Couture and Kat Graham in Amato.
