'Tomboy' Jennifer Lawrence's parade of sexy looks

She may be a self-proclaimed "tomboy," but Jennifer Lawrence's wardrobe has been singing a different tune of late. The A-list actress has been letting her feminine side shine in a series of curve-hugging, eye-catching outfits.

It marks a new look for Jennifer, who normally favours more demure, oversized ensembles. She also traded her pixie hair for flowing blond locks, as she appears to have added extensions.

While apartment-hunting in New York, the Hunger Games actress dazzled onlookers in a black crop top and a matching figure-hugging pencil skirt. She accessorised with black caged stilettos and a gold clutch, her flowing hair in loose curls.

And the star was spotted leaving the Comic Con festival on Saturday sporting a skin-tight wet-look dress that made the most of her enviable physique.

With a thigh-high split and lace-up details, the edgy number from Prabal Gurung looked stunning on Jennifer, who anchored the ensemble with black barely-there heels and topped it off with a pair of oversized sunglasses.

Jennifer, who recently spent a romantic Fourth of July with rumoured beau Chris Martin, once revealed that she never had a real interest in fashion. "In Louisville, when I was a child, I inherited clothes from my two older brothers that I put together with things that my mother dug out of yard sales," she said. "I was a true tomboy."

However, she acknowledged that she has since come to appreciate fashion.
