The Week's Best Celebrity Style: Nikki Reed, Gabrielle Union, Nina Dobrev and more

Delicate textures reign supreme as stars take to the red carpet and beyond in their finest dress.

Actress Jacqui Ainsley led the pack in a dolman sleeve tiered gown by Temperley London, complete with geometric embroidery and gold accents at the London premiere of The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Keri Russell followed suit at the 31st annual Television Critics Association Awards in a lace kimono-style dress from red-carpet mainstay Zuhair Murad, and finished her look with barely there makeup and loose, tousled waves.

Nikki Reed also joined the lace brigade in a navy semi-sheer mock neck dress by Lover, which she elegantly paired with triple strap Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a metallic minaudière.

Shamless star Emmy Rossum offered an alternative to the textured look in a romantic ivory frock with sheer ruffled paneling by designer Alessandra Rich and brightened her look with a hot pink lip and gilded accessories.

Masters of Sex star Lizzy Caplan’s two-piece Valentino ensemble, worn at Hollywood’s CBS, CW and Showtime TCA event, marked a subtle shift into fall dressing with a rich colour palette and striking motif. Meanwhile, Canada’s ownNina Dobrev provided a different take on pattern play in a colourful Diane von Furstenberg button up and tuxedo-style romper.

Last but never least, Gabrielle Union opted for an Akris tuxedo dress with sheer underlay and multi-strap sandals for a very sultry look at the L.A. premiere of Straight Outta Compton, and Kim Kardashian paired a taupe jersey skirt with an Isabel Marant trench coat and braided Jimmy Choo rope sandals for a shopping trip at Barney’s NY.
