Armani could pay '$10 million' for Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris

Should Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris like to follow in the footsteps of David and Victoria Beckham, it seems they’ll make a pretty penny in the process. The gorgeous pair is reportedly being courted by Armani to front the brand’s next campaign, much like the steamy shots the Beckhams took in 2009.

Armani bosses reckon Taylor and Calvin could emulate the success of the David and Victoria adverts,” and insider told The Daily Star. “They generated global headlines and were a huge PR coup.

“The Taylor offer is initially around the $10 million mark but that sum could then triple with global promotion if the campaign is successful. Taylor and Calvin are the hottest thing on the planet right now. Calvin’s adverts have done really well and helped the brand reach a different audience.”

Calvin already shares a close relationship with Armani, having fronted two recent campaigns for the high fashion label. He recently set pulses racing in his new Emporio Armani adverts, showing off his incredibly toned body while modelling the designer’s latest range of underwear in black-and-white images.

The Scottish DJ was first unveiled as the new face of Armani back in February earlier this year, marking the first time he has lent his striking handsome looks to a high fashion campaign.

It’s incredible to be working with Mr Armani and his team at Emporio Armani,” he told WWD at the time. “I feel an affinity to the brand ethos and have been a long time admirer of their designs.”

The admiration is clearly mutual, with Giorgio Armani himself having nothing but praise for the singer.
