Jessica Alba is still reeling from an incident at Opening Ceremony’s New York Fashion Week show, during which Kylie Jenner’s bodyguards were witnessed pushing the actress aside to let the teen through. Following the incident, the 34-year-old has confirmed that it happened and expressed that she was "really shocked.”
“I was just really shocked,” she admitted during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. When asked if it was a “real push" by host Andy Cohen, Jessica went on to reveal she had thought there was an emergency at the time.
“I got body-checked!” she said. “And it was like by two of them. I was like, ’Whoa! Whoa! What’s happening?’ I thought there was like a fire… I was like, ’What’s going on?’ But I guess someone was just leaving the building. It was really shocking.”
Initial reports that the members of security had pushed Jessica surfaced after the Opening Ceremony show, with both stars hitting the front row to watch the label’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
“After the show, trying to leave the venue, it was very crowded,” a source told Page Six. “Everyone was in the crush and Jessica had stopped briefly to say hi to someone when all of a sudden from behind came Jenner’s bodyguards. They just shoved Jessica out of the way. She just looked astonished!”
Another source added that “Jessica didn’t freak out” as the bodyguards swiftly moved on.
While Kylie has yet to comment, there’s no doubt that she’s had a packed New York Fashion Week. Making her debut without her famous sisters and family, the 18-year-old has hit the front rows of major shows including Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung and Vera Wang.
It’s not the first time that Kylie has hit Fashion Week – when she was just 14 years old she was spotted accompanying mom Kris Jenner to a show, but this marks the first time she has made a solo debut.
