Selena Gomez, Alicia Vikander and more shine at Louis Vuitton's LFW party

Selena Gomez has made very few fashion week appearances this year, but each one of her showstopping looks had garnered high praise for the 23-year-old. Stopping by the Louis Vuitton party during London Fashion Week, the singer was a definite standout.

The “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know” hitmaker showed off her edgy side in a striking black leather floor-length gown, with dazzling beaded embellishment on its cap sleeves and a silver zip detail.

Looking every inch a Hollywood starlet, Selena complemented her outfit by wearing her glossy tresses swept up into a chic low bun, and opted for dramatic smokey eye make-up look. She accessorised with a chic Louis Vuitton black box clutch bag.

Selena wasn’t the only fashionista to turn heads at the party. British beauties Alexa Chung, Lily Donaldson and Cressida Bonas were joined by stars including Michelle Williams and Clemence Poesy, as they celebrated London Fashion Week with the iconic French fashion house. Hot on the heels of her dazzling appearances at the Toronto International Film Festival, The Danish Girl star Alicia Vikander also pulled out all the stops.

Even Cara Delevingne, who recently revealed she’d be taking a step back from the world of fashion, stepped out for the party, joined by girlfriend St. Vincent. The couple made a stylish duo, with Cara opting for a chic dark blue suit including a tailored blazer, while musician St Vincent paired a mint green gown with an oversized black tailored coat.

This marks the first Fashion Month where Cara hasn’t made any catwalk appearances, following the news that she is taking a break from modelling to focus on her acting career.

“I am not doing fashion work anymore,” she told The Times. “Modelling just made me feel a bit hollow after a while. It didn’t make me grow at all as a human being. And I kind of forgot how young I was… I felt so old.”
