Kate matches her burgundy Dolce & Gabbana dress to Prince William's tie

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, slipped into her second show-stopping look on Wednesday (Oct. 21) for additional engagements with China's first couple. The brunette beauty looked radiant in a $6,175 Dolce & Gabbana dress, which is currently available on net-a-porter.com.

Standing together in state and style, Kate and husband Prince William coordinated their looks as he selected a tie in the same colour to meet up with China's president Xi Jinping and his wife Madame Peng at Lancaster House.

The designer dress is described on the Net-A-Porter website as "a sophisticated update on the label's signature lace styles. It comes with a silk-blend slip for coverage, but is sheer through the sleeves to reveal a hint of skin."

Kate paired the beautiful dress with a matching clutch and pumps, both in suede.

The couple were meeting up with the Chinese president and his wife to attend the "Creative Collaborations" exhibition. The reunion was to celebrate the cultural ties – both existing and future – between the UK and China.

The couple's outing came the morning after their attended a lavish state banquet where Kate wore a sparkling red Jenny Packham gown with a dazzling tiara.

The dress featured cap sleeves, a sweeping train and sparkling embellishment details. Fans were quick to note that her glamorous outfit was by one of her favourite designers, Jenny Packham.
