Holiday gift guide 2015: Great ideas for him

By Sarah Kelsey

The road to holiday gifting is fraught with obstacles, no matter who’s on your list this year, and that includes gifts for the gentlemen. Surely even the most solid A-listers have grappled with their men's wants during the festive season.

The solution is to buy something that caters to your man’s likes, fits with his lifestyle and that he probably wouldn’t buy for himself.

While foodie gifts work for Jamie, Kanye loves something that's one of a kind.

There are “foodie” fathers, brothers and husbands who, like Jamie Oliver and Curtis Stone, would probably adore an item or two to help them improve their culinary skills. Other interesting gifts that may grab a guy’s attention include sports keepsakes (think Justin Timberlake), tech toys (ahem, Ashton Kutcher) and beauty products (for A-listers like Brad Pitt who always look perfectly pulled together).

But alas, some gentlemen aren’t so easily figured out.

Prince William and Ryan Gosling seem to put the love of their families over any objects (think experiential gifts for fellows like these!). Then there are those who seem to defy any gifting category, like Prince Harry and George Clooney, who seem to enjoy just about everything life has to offer.

So what’s a person to do? To help take the guesswork out of what the guys in your life will love this holiday season, we’ve rounded up dozens of perfect-for-him finds from some of our favourite brands.
